Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sunday is the Lord’s Day, the weekly celebration of His Resurrection. Join the Church in the Eucharist and give the day to worship, fitting rest, and works of charity. Ordinary Time leads us through the life and teaching of Jesus. It is a school of steady fidelity. At Nazareth, Mary sanctified hidden duties through perfect love; ask her to teach you the same generosity in the work that is yours today.

Do all your actions for Mary

Apostolate · Read with the saints

Finally, one must do all one’s actions for Mary. For, since we have given ourselves wholly to her service, it is just that we do everything for her, as a valet, a servant, and a slave; not that we take her for the last end of our services, which is Jesus Christ alone, but for their proximate end, their mysterious medium, and their easy means of going to him. Like a good servant and slave, we must not remain idle; but, supported by her protection, we must undertake and do great things for this august Sovereign.

Make this prayer your own

We pray to You, Lord Jesus, by the fifteen mysteries of Your life, death, Passion, and glory, and the merits of Your holy Mother, to convert sinners, to aid the dying, to deliver the souls in purgatory, and to give us all Your grace to live well and die well, and Your glory to see You face to face and to love You throughout eternity. Amen.

St. Louis de Montfort · The Secret of the Rosary · First Method, final prayer

One faithful act

Serve Mary for the love of Jesus Christ, whom Montfort names as the final end of these actions.
